WHO WE ARE.
The Creamery Marketplace is a retail destination in the heart of San Luis Obispo, California. We believe shopping, dining and living the good life begins with celebrating locally owned businesses, while embracing the history of the 1900's creamery buildings which have been brought back to life with a full renovation.
WHAT WE HAVE.
The Creamery Marketplace consists of San Luis Obispo's favorite locally owned shops and restaurants including Birkram Yoga SLO, Curio Women's Resale Shop, Picking Daisies, Foremost Wine Co. Goshi Sushi, La Esquina Taqueria, Mama's Meatballs & Spikes Pub, Hidden Treasures; with more favorites on the horizon!
WHERE WE ARE.
The Creamery Marketplace is located in the south end of downtown San Luis Obispo at 570 Higuera St with an additional entrance on the 1000 block of Nipomo Street. With all of San Luis Obispo's Farmers Markets, wineries, shopping & eateries and outdoor activities it's no surprise SLO was named the happiest city in America.
WHEN WE WERE YOUNG.
Built in 1906, Creamery Marketplace - formerly The Golden State Creamery - was a full-service creamery until closing in 1974, when it was remodeled into a retail center. In the early 20th century San Luis Obispo county was home to the largest dairy industry in the United States. Creamery Marketplace is currently undergoing a full renovation expected to be complete in 2018.
